I have a Master of Social Work degree from Washington University in St. Louis where I specialized in clinical social work and mental health.  I hold an active Licensed Clinical Social Work license in the state of New Jersey and am an NASW/ASWB-NJ certified supervisor.

For the past 12 years I have worked as a therapist, supervisor, and program coordinator in a local, non-profit community mental health outpatient clinic as well as a supervisor of case management teams within a managed care environment.

I began working part-time in private practice back in 2012 and plan to continue my practice for many years to come.  I have years of experience with mood disorders (depression), bipolar disorder, anxiety, trauma and PTSD, OCD, grief and loss, family conflict, parenting, and adjustment disorders though this list is far from all-inclusive.

My additional work experience includes being an in-home and in-school therapist for pregnant and parenting teenagers, serving on a task force tackling commercial sexual exploitation of children and human slavery, medical case management, and providing individual counseling as part of a medical continuum of care in a federally qualified health clinic.

I have a special interest in women’s mental health throughout the lifespan, particularly as it relates to issues surrounding reproductive health and postpartum adjustment.
